- The vehicle must be two wheel drive (2WD). Drive line configuration may be as follows:
* A rear wheel drive (RWD) vehicle must remain rear wheel drive.
* Similarly, a front wheel drive vehicle (FWD) must remain front wheel drive.
* However, an all wheel drive (AWD) vehicle or a four wheel drive vehicle (4WD) may be modified to be a 2WD, either FWD or RWD.
- The vehicle's original engine may be substituted with another engine, as long as it is from the same manufacturer and has the
same number of cylinders or rotors.
( i.e, a Ford Escort may substitute it's original 1.6L Kent, or 2.0L Pinto with a Ford Duratech engine.)
- In the fitment of a substitute engine, there must not be any modifications to the firewall, chassis rails or radiator support panel.
- Suspension, brakes and tyres are free
- Driveline components are free
